Elshaddai’s Practical Ministries - Kenya Report August 2006

This is how the money is used, we have five programs that Elshaddai Kenya started with

Program 1 is at Mungenye where we have feeding program of 120 children and sometimes we feed up to 130 of which some of them are orphans some of them have single mothers who cannot take care of them, I will be sending their picture soon next week.

Program 2 is that of five orphaned children from one family whom their sister is Priscar we thank God for what he is doing in the lives of these children through this program one of the boy in this family that had gone to street came back home and now we are trying to get him back to school as Elshaddai also through them we have other children and young boys that as a result has come to know the Lord.

Program 3 is that of Nairobi life centre this was something that was there we were helping orphaned children and some of them are staying with our members some of them because of the expenses we gave them out to some of our brothers in rural erea that way is less expensive but those in Nairobi Elshaddai is helping for their up keep we thank God for that.

Program 4 is that of Pastor James, who is also our treasurer, has children ministry and so Elshaddai chips in something for his program each month we thank God for what he is doing in his ministry.

Program 5 is a widow mother with six children of which one of them is HIV positive and the mother too, we have been able to support her with something as Elshaddai once in a while because of short of finances, but we thank the Lord that Elshaddai has been able to help them.

THIS IS HOW WE HAVE BEEN DIVIDING MONEY TO OUR PROJECTS.

1.14,000 kenya shillings has been going for groceries for feeding program at Mwengenye.

100kgs of rice coasts 9,000 kenya shillings
80kgs of beans coasts 5,000 kenya shillings
2,500 kenya shillings is used for spices

We feed for three weeks, though some weeks we feed three times and some four depending on the food we have in store.

2. We put aside 4,000 kenya shillings for their upkeeping though sometimes it is not enough for the family of five but by the grace of God they are able to use it for a month.

3. 300 kenya shillings, is used for the up keeping of the orphans at Nairobi life centre and because they stay with members
we just give them something small to help them thou it is not enough.

4. 4,000 kenya shillings and sometimes 3,000 kenya shillings goes to Pastor James Kakunyi children program of which he also has feeding program.

5. 4,000 kenya shillings helps her with her six children and sometimes she goes without, it is not enough but we do encourage her to begin something to help her.

Finally Elshaddai has been able to pay for my House, that is 12,000 kenya shillings may God bless Elshaddai. It is true that some times this money is not enough but we try to sqeeze it, there so may other projects that needs help.

May I take this opportunity to thank Elshaddai Practical Ministry for the good work, we in Kenya are praying for Elshaddai and we know that the Lord will continue to expand Elshadai and we will be able to reach Africa, right now we have so many people who wants Elshaddai in their regions but we are still limited, I visited eastern province last week they are really in a big need, pungulutu toilets are needed and sanitation its dry there.

Finally I want to request the Board of Directors if you can get a 4x4 van to help us, or car to help us visiting slums areas and villages it is really needed. 

May the Lord bless Elshaddai and expand it thanks to our Board of Directors in England
